Our History
Route 1 Recruitment & Training Ltd (Route 1) was established in November 2018 by Jonathan Gilbert, who has 20 plus years’ experience in recruitment management. Based in Birstall, we now employ a team of experienced recruitment professionals who are looking forward and working towards to continued company growth.
In The Community
We are proud to serve the local community and do all we can to support good causes and fellow Yorkshire businesses. Around 40 business owners and shopkeepers from the Birstall Chamber of Trade used the Route 1 training room to learn first aid, including how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). We ran the training, to help support our fellow local businesses.
Route 1’s other community have been involved in sponsoring a local football team and Rugby Teams including Ossett United Shawcross Sharks., and various other fundraising activities. We also actively support Macmillan fund raising events.
