Grahams story.

Graham had been in the same job for almost 20 years and out of the blue was made redundant. I know Graham wont mind me saying this , he feared the worst , due to his age, and the 'World of Work' has changed , as has the pathways to finding work. Like many others he was skeptical how this would help him,

We spoke on the phone honestly and told him , this was not about what we do , but what he does. We understand maybe right now you may be feeling low, confidence is knocked , and uncertainty creeps in. We spent some time with Graham we talked about his expectation , what he wanted from the service and what we would deliver.

Using our program we were able to guide Graham through a series of challenges for someone that the way of getting a job in the modern age is different from 20 years ago, interview techniques , social media presence , interview preparation to name a few. After Graham's second visit to us, he called us to say he had an interview . We knew he would smash it , as he was a great candidate, with a formidable skill set.

On the day of the interview we had a brief chat with graham , just reviewing what had been discussed and used to get him in front of the hiring manager. 24 hours later Graham got the call to offer him the job. let me tell you, we were as delighted as he was, a great bloke that will be an asset to him new employer.

The Friday before he started he came in to see us, socially distanced , and gave our team a gift by way of thanks, We had all the thanks we need getting him back to the world of work. That was months ago, and he is still there, enjoying the job.
