Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to assist our Joiners and Tradesmen in building modular buildings in a warehouse environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced team working Monday to Friday with consistent hours. The role involves supporting skilled workers with various tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the successful completion of modular construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Joiners and Tradesmen in building modular units and frames.
- Move and handle construction materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and tools.
- Operate basic hand tools and assist with assembling modular components.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and safe in line with health and safety standards.
- Support the team in general duties to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.
- Help with the delivery and storage of materials for modular build projects.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers to assist in daily operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in a general labouring or construction role is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy materials.
- Comfortable assisting skilled tradesmen in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
