Route 1 are currently working with a fast growing Logistics company based in Keighley.
We are looking for a strong FLT Mechanic to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be working with a combination of Diesel and Electric trucks as well as Moffetts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs on Forklift Trucks and other Material Handling Equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed using Tablet App
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical & Electrical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing repairs
Your working week will be Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
Salary starting at £16.00 per hour.
